Today, I attended my aun'ts funeral. She was 92. She lived a good long life.
During the memorial service, her oldest daughter deliverd the eurolgy. It was then that I discovered my aunt was the oldest of 18 children. I never knew that. I started to wonder what she might have had to do to help out her parents when she was growing up. Since the boston Marathon bombing, people around the world are supporting running events either by lending their verbal support, organizing impromptu small races, or through last minute registration into evnts that are happening. Runners and race organizers are continuing with our efforts. I am a part of a group of 9 and growing particpants in the Toronto Scotia Bank Water Front Marathon in Oct. We will be there.
